The genesis of The David Group International is in response to a forward call to serve both the planet and those sustained by it. In recognizing many of the global challenges that lay before us, we hold as our mission the desire to expedite a global conversation for a new earth. Primarily we do this by focusing upon what we believe to be four core transformational quadrants: the sacred, personal, organizational and the societal, with the sacred often holding the most potential in influencing the other three.

We approach these lofty goals at the highest levels by gathering together the insights and intellectual properties of PhD’s, Nobel Peace Prize winners/nominees, leading authors and other entrepreneurial voices on the cutting edges of their field.

By entering into deep and meaningful dialogue, we believe that necessary mutual modifications among nations and people groups will become manifest, alleviating global ills and expressing outcomes via lasting peace, abundance and reconciliation.

Much of our philosophy centers around the acknowledgement that the world’s great societies often embrace sacred narratives (religious or secular) that frame the basis of their governance, both over their own citizenry as well as within the world community at large.

In this light, we at The David Group believe this has been especially evident in the way the United States has been influenced by its sacred narratives both in its local and foreign policy – for better or worse. Since its founding, much of the U.S. story, and therefore its policy, has been influenced through Judeo-Christian ideas and principles. However, from the seeds of these noble origins have now sprung a wide range of toxic narratives producing everything from mild abandonment theologies (true believers being ‘raptured’ from a doomed earth) to more extreme and harmful ideologies (and policies), such as Zionism and ‘manifest destiny’ (the idea that the U.S. has been chosen by God above other nations).

As we enter into the twenty-first century, it is becoming increasingly evident that the sacred narratives of all nations would benefit from a process of deeper self-reflection and internal critique. If there is to be greater equality and a more respectful engagement and coexistence within the world community at large, it is our belief that each of us must be willing to creatively confront these narratives (both their dignities and disasters) that we might embark upon a nobler path toward a more sustainable future.

To this end The David Group embraces its role at home and abroad in celebrating the diverse spiritualities and sacred narratives of all the earth’s citizenry. Therefore with a sense that the numinous is both within and yet beyond what may fully be known, we believe that a new earth will be born if we willingly meet on the border just beyond our belief systems and sacred narratives, joining together at the crossroads of humility and mystery on behalf of all humankind.

For when this is done, respect is heightened, dignity restored, communication clarified, and our common sacred identities are at long last expressed in world-wide peace, reconciliation and abundance for all.

This is a new earth.
